Quality Control 2012
Twenty twelve is here!
I won't be posting 366 posts (leap year) in the form of a photo/post per day. One thing I learned from 365 2011 was that it's very difficult to consistently keep content at a good quality. More days than I wanted were last minute photos just to meet a photo of the day requirement. I want Lurk365 to be a project of quality and to be known for quality. I'd rather have a handful of great posts instead of dozens of mediocre posts.
Lurk365 isn't just a photography project! It's also a web design/dev project. I spent a great deal of time refreshing the design and features. The pages will be seeing an update later on this month. Many of the features are under the hood for me to be able to more easily update and manage content. For instance, the photos are now their own field instead of being part of the actual post - making it so I can display a different sized image once front page and on the post page. Also, there's a couple new features - Yelp sidebar per post and Facebook comments. More to come!
I hope to deliver much better content this year.
